Senior CMM Programmer (1996 - 2006)
Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for the operation of numerical controlled (N/C) inspection equipment, using "learn programming" and "off-line" programming methods. Create solid models using CAD systems. Debug Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) executive software. Resolve problems with part inspection programs and resolve systems issues with Computer Aided Inspection (CAI) system manufacturers. Develop algorithms, which optimize part inspection programs. Verify and test machine malfunctions. Resolve system interface problems. Develop communication software. Address other issues associated with advanced CAI systems. Schedule other CMM programmer work assignments.

  • Member of Manufacturing and Engineering Value Stream Mapping Team that achieved 35% reduction in non-recurring engineering costs and a 30% reduction in recurring costs.
  • Member of “Standard Features Team” developing associative “User Defined Features” for Design, Manufacturing and Inspection CAD systems.
