This is a very intense course in the study of the ASME Y14.5M 1994 standard. The course is designed to prepare participants for the Senior Level Certification Exam given by the ASME. Participants in this course are shown what to expect on the exam and how to prepare for taking the exam. Participants not wanting to take the exam will benefit from the course as well.
The first day is spent reviewing the Y14.5.2 Standard, body of knowledge, how to prepare for the exam and a general review of GD&T. The second and third day will be spent reviewing sample questions, going over answers and clarifying key areas of the standard as well as performing sample calculations as they may appear on the exam.
It should be noted that the pass rate for this exam is only 15%. Due to this, Tec-Ease, Inc. will not guarantee that course participants will pass the exam. Success will require a considerable amount of effort on the learners' part.
