Basic GD&T Model Kit

This model kit contains 2 parts that are found in several places in the GD&T Hierarchy textbook.  The part containing the 2 holes first appears on page 1-14.  The yellow fixture may be used to illustrate datum precedence.  The blue block turns the fixture into a sinebar.  The pins and V-blocks allow you to demonstrate several different datum targets.

By referring to the drawing included with the kit, the instructor may create numerous datum reference frames which can then be put together using the basic model kit.

Note: Though this kit follows The GD&T Hierarchy 2009 Textbook, the models can be used with any textbook and when training Y14.5-2009 or Y14.5-2018 Standards.
