Applications of GD&T is intended for individuals who have previously taken a fundamentals-level course in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with the ASME Y14.5 standard.

Participants will learn how to confidently apply GD&T across a wide range of drawings and real-world situations. This course strengthens your Geometric Tolerancing skills, closes knowledge gaps, and helps you reduce product costs through better datum selection and more robust design practices. You’ll also learn how to apply the Tec-Ease GD&T Hierarchy.

Advanced topics—including the use of profile and position tolerances, fixed vs. floating features, proper datum feature selection, and effective tolerance allocation—are covered in depth. The course also expands your understanding of simultaneous requirements, composite tolerancing, profile tolerancing, robust design principles, and boundary calculations.

This course should take 16 hours to complete.

Corporate Web Access Includes:

1) Company Wide Online Training

2) 1 Year Access (Additional year options available at a reduced rate)

3) Online access to textbook and pocket guide. (Hard copies may be purchased separately)

Past Student Gwen says, "I absolutely love this course…I can go as slow as I want and go back and review slides if I need to…. This is the way to go. I don’t interrupt others learning, yet I get to fully understand before I move on.
