Flanged Part Model Kit

This distorted part is found on page 19 of the pocket guide where it is used to illustrate various types of tolerances and dimensions.  This part is also shown on page 3-12 of the Hierarchy textbook to illustrate various types of datum features and on page 4-4 is a drawing of the part showing the controls that should be applied to datum features.  The gage helps illustrate the effect of maximum material boundary being applied to datum features.
